I have watched TV5 last week (July 31). One of their topic was about malpractice in one of the hospitals in Marikina. And yes you are right it's Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center.
I was really disappointed when I saw that news. One of their patients said that some nurse and doctors there aren't treating them very well. It was like there was no relationship between the health care providers to their patients.
"Parang dinaganan ng elepante yung puso ko" That is how I felt when I saw two babies died because of ARMMC malpractice.
It bothers me because student nurses from OLFU Antipolo and from other schools are having their duties in that hospital.I know why our school sent us to ARMMC and to other hospitals, it is because for us to enhance our own skills and knowledge and to provide quality care for the patients. But what if staff nurse or doctors are showing bad examples? Of course we cannot learn from them. We don't have the right to correct their mistakes because we're only student nurse.
In the first place we are having our duties in the hospitals to learn.
Nurses and doctors should act as a role model for us student nurses so that we can practice good example until we all become registered nurse.
